Our Story
About the Ministry
True Identity Ministries is an International Christian, tax exempt, nondenominational ministry for men and women of all ages and backgrounds. The ministry was founded in 2008 out of Jennifer Brommet’s call to share her “Ugly Duckling” story of her journey from severe rejection and depression to freedom in her true identity in Christ, with a passion for others to experience the same. The ministry began with a weekend True Identity retreat for women in October of 2008 and expanded to retreats and conferences for men and women worldwide. True Identity Ministries is led by Jennifer and her husband Remco, along with a team headquartered in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
In 2019 True Identity Ministries launched an online study program to help make the TI program available to a broader audience both in the U.S. and internationally. Our desire is to see people worldwide have access to our programs in order to enter into a deeper relationship with God and find freedom in God’s original design of who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them.
In October of 2024, Jennifer and Remco moved to Kenya to give on the ground leadership to help expand the TI message throughout Kenya, East Africa and beyond.
Vision
True Identity Ministries believes that its message is of great importance for the Church in our day and age.
Our passion is to see people all over the world experience freedom in their true identity in Christ.
We do so by helping them understand and embrace God’s design and purpose for them, as laid out in the Bible, which will help prepare the church for the return of Christ. In addition, we equip participants in our programs to share the True Identity message in their own environment, culture, and language.
We aim to offer our program participants continuous resourcing through the use of today’s internet-based media and technology.

Understanding one’s true identity in Christ is crucial to living a free, abundant life! Our behavior is controlled by our perception of who we are. It follows that a failure to understand our identity results in being ill-equipped to act in accordance with who we truly are in Christ. We live in a “Mistaken Identity.” Unless we come to understand the lies we have been believing, we will live in captivity to destructive thoughts and behaviors, and lack the joy and freedom only God can provide. He has a purpose and an assignment for everyone. It is only by embracing and believing the Biblical truths of forgiveness, love, and restoration to our true identity in Christ, that we will be able to step into all He designed and desires for us to be as His sons and daughters.

A New Approach
Expanding the True Identity message through online access, translated resources, and worldwide reach.
To expand our ministry reach we have made our programs & resources available online, and developing additional follow-up programs and resources. We are facilitating a greater global reach with the Spanish translation of the True Identity Study Guide and teaching videos with Spanish subtitles, along with the Swahili translation of our East African training workbook.
